Two of the new garage doors on the west side of the C.M. “Smitty” Smith Central Fire Station front end had been installed by Friday morning and the two on the east side were expected to be in place by the end of that day, according to Fire Chief Donnie Morris. Work already has started on installing four new doors on the north side of the building.
